Product: HP Laptop - 15s-gr0007au
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I need to upgrade RAM in my HP Laptop - 15s-gr0007au, can you tell me if I can get 2 slot RAM added of 8 GB

 

If yes, what would happen with the existing one of 4GB 

 

This laptop has expsndable rsm upto 16 gb

Would it be fine if i get 12 gb additional ram or just 8 gb new plus 4 gb existing will work

It has  4 GB DDR4-2400 SDRAM (1 x 4 GB).

 

You can upgrade to 12GB (4GB+8GB) it should work but less benefit. RAM sticks are cheap now, you can use the following RAM to upgrade to 16GB:
