It specs

It has 1 TB 5400 rpm SATA now, you should be able to add M.2 NVMe SSD to your machine using standard M.2 NVMe SSD drives. The most popular ones are

 

           https://www.samsung.com/us/computing/memory-storage/solid-state-drives/ssd-970-evo-nvme-m2-500gb-mz-...

 

but the  https://www.westerndigital.com/en-au/products/internal-drives/wd-blue-sn570-nvme-ssd#WDS250G3B0C should work.

 

For warranty: Warranty is a grey/gray area very hard to say in concrete. For new generation machines, adding something or fixing something is a work for Authorized Service Provider parts . You can add yourself. If something went wrong due to this upgrade, I think HP would not honor warranty.
