Hi:

 

According to chapter 1 of the service manual, your notebook has one memory slot, and can support 1 x 8 GB of memory.

This model in this discussion has the A4 dual core processor and only one memory slot.

 

Solved: Model 15 bw-551ur upgrade RAM - HP Support Community - 8159407

 

You may want to open up the notebook and confirm if the A6 dual core processors also only have one memory slot.

 

If it has two, slots, then you can install 2 x 8 GB of DDR4-2400 memory that will run at 1866 MHz.
