I already have an SSD drive in my HP laptop but I am running out of space as it is only 128 GB. I am looking to upgrade to a larger SDD perhaps 250 or 500. I have done some preliminary searching and from looking around at other forums etc., I have found the SAMSUNG 970 EVO Plus SSD 250GB - M.2 NVMe Interface Internal Solid State Drive with V-NAND Technology (MZ-V7S250B/AM) to be one possibility, however, I wanted to get some confirmation to make sure that it would be compatible with my laptop. I would also be open to other suggestions of a different SSD if one would be a better match.

Hi:
Since your notebook's M.2 slot supports both SATA and NVMe SSD's you can upgrade to the SAMSUNG 970 EVO Plus SSD 250GB.
Below is the link to the service manual. Chapter 1 has the supported drive types.
Chapter 6 has the SSD removal and replacement procedure.
