As per manual http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c05273198

it actually supports an HDD (2.5") and an M2 SATA3 SSD. So no 960 EVO as it is an NVMe SSD

Can i use 2tb hdd with a 256gb m.2 sata 3 ssd?
HP Recommended

Yes! Remember to check their dimension, to fit in the case. I always suggest to open the bottom case and check first person which kind of slots the PC have got. A nice experience to see how your laptop is made

Are you sure as in the manual its is given as
HDD + SSD CONFIGURATIONS
1TB(5400) 9.5mm hdd + 128GB M.2 SATA 3 ssd
Will it support 2tb hdd + 256gb ssd?
HP Recommended

These are the configurations for models that are sold to the public. You can fit whichever amount of memory you want.

Oh thank you so much one last thing does have two different ports one for hdd and another for ssd m.2 port?
HP Recommended

M2 and SATA are two different kinds of connection interfaces, with different designes.

But please, before buying the M2 SSD, open up the laptop and check which connector the motherboard has got.

You can use this image as reference.
