I was wondering if i can upgrade the RAM and SSD for HP Envy x360 convertible 15m-dr0xxx?

Could I upgrade the RAM for the HP Envy x360 convertible 15m-dr0xxx? Will 32 GB be suitable?

Installed RAM 8.00 GB (7.79 GB usable)

If you have a single 8gb stick of memory you should be able to add an identical one for a total of 16gb.  

The service manual shows a maximum of 16gb on page 1 and page 31 shows different SSD possibilities.

An easy way to find what memory you have is to run the wmic app from the windows command prompt. Bring up the window CMD prompt and enter the first line to see what memory you have. The second line may give the maximum memory possible based on the chipset. The number of memory sockets limit what can be added.

wmic memorychip get devicelocator, capacity, speed, MemoryType, formfactor, partnumber, manufacturer

wmic memphysical get maxcapacityEx, MemoryDevices

Should look something like the following. To purchase identical memory search for the part number shown and look for the letters 'HP' on any label attached to the memory stick.

Possibly your system may be upgradable to 32gb.

Please provide the Product ID or exact model name for better assistance. Preferably the full product ID including the characters after the # symbol.  The xxx of 15m-dr0xxx was not useful to find your exact specification.
