That driver installed although it didn't go through the usual installation process telling you what to do and click on etc.  It had a blue circle hanging for some time, but the driver is installed.  The Intel CSME scan still says "The System is not supported".  It came up with that for the 2024 driver I tried as well.  Only the original 2015 driver for this laptop comes up with "The system may be vulnerable" - but I guess "not supported" is better than "vulnerable"!

One thing I can't find on the HP site is which drivers belong to which laptops/models - from the driver number.  It would be nice to know.  So the 2023 one you linked - was that for a later model HP Spectre X360 or a different laptop model?  I'd like to make a note for the future.

The driver I gave you is from the HP Elitebook 850 G4 business class notebook that comes with an Intel 7th generation Core processor.

Thank you 🙂  It seems I have a more up to date driver that works so I think I'll ignore the message on the Intel CSME as maybe that program isn't appropriate for later drivers.  Thank you for your help.
