I'm having a problem with my Hp 15 dw1000 laptop where the SSD i have as my boot drive isn't being chosen but its defaulting to the HDD i have that has no bootable software. This is getting to repetive.
P.S i upgrade the laptop to 12 gigs of ram and a 512 gigs of SSD I also have the drivers for the SSD

What was the original hardware configuration of the laptop?
When upgrading, always do it one step at a time.
Disconnect the HDD and then boot up.
The HDD still has a active flag so the BIOS recognizes it as the boot drive even though it isn't.
That will give the OS time to recognize the SSD as the boot drive.
You can also set the SSD as the Boot drive in the BIOS.
