Can I increase the amount of RAM in the notebook: HP Pavilion 15-ck006ur? I just want to know this before buying.

Hello,

 

According to the specifications of your laptop as seen bellow:

 

https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-pavilion-15-ck000-laptop-pc/17296798/model/18477287/document...

 

You have one 4GB DDR4 2133 Ram chip and one 2GB DDR4 2133 ram chip.

 

You could technically take these 2 out and put two 8-MB, SODIMM, DDR4-2400, 1.2-V for a total of 16GB RAM.

 

Instructions on how to replace the modules can be found in the link bellow at page 35:

You can also find the part number of the 8GB memory module to search online for the parts. Personally, I wouldn't go past 8GB as RAM has been going WAAAY up in price recently.
