I purchased an HP Victus Gaming Laptop 16-s0097nr (7X8S0UA) in Hawaii, USA.
Currently, I am residing in South Korea.
The laptop is experiencing serious hardware issues, likely related to the motherboard or the integrated graphics.
I understand that my warranty can be extended for one more year, and if I purchase the extended warranty, the repair might be covered free of charge.
However, since I am not in the United States at the moment, I would like to ask:
Is the extended warranty valid for repairs if the laptop is shipped from South Korea to the US?
If international shipping is required, will HP cover the shipping cost (both ways), or will it be my responsibility?
Alternatively, is it possible to receive warranty service at an HP-authorized service center in South Korea, even though the laptop was purchased in the US?
I would greatly appreciate any guidance on the available options so I can proceed with the repair in the most efficient way.
Thank you.
