Could you please confirm if it's okay to keep the HP laptop connected to the power/charger constantly, 24/7? Will this affect the battery performance in any way? Please also share the tips/documentation we should follow for better battery life.

After checking with others on this, I have to tell you it is a BAD idea to keep modern laptops plugged in all the time.
The issue is basically the battery.
Newer laptops use Lithium-Ion batteries and keeping the charge connected keeps those batteries at 100% charge all the time -- and this shortens the life of the battery, This is the same battery technology that is used in many smart phones, and some of the newer ones have battery management plans whereby you can limit the charging to 80%, which extends the life of the battery,
