The series does NOT have dual storage option therefore you can't install a 2.5" hard drive.

According to the 250 G9 datasheet, it supports dual storage:
However, since you didn't buy the dual storage version, you ended up with this:
So, although the machine supports 2.5-inch storage devices, you will have to find all of the mounting accessories separately. The parts can be seen in the manual and ordered from HP.

Oh, and almost forgot. Instructions on how to mount the hard drive board are on pages 39, 40 which have been mislabeled as "Solid-State drive Board", but actually it's the HDD board as you can see by comparing the opened up laptop to the pics in the manual:
