Hi Erico.

I've already tried removing the HDD, check step 2.

If you look at Picture 2, the link I shared in my previous post, you'll see that the SSD doesn't show up in the Boot Options menu. Something that I didn't include is that if I click on  the "Boot From EFI File" button, I don't get a list of EFI files.

The issue is that I'm not being able to boot from the SSD, even when the HDD has been removed.

You did not state in your previous post that the Windows 10 installation went through to completion and allowed you to boot to it.

Disk 1 does not have an OS installed on it. I will go ut on a limb and believe that is where you want to install the Windows 100 OS.

That is what you need.

Hi.

As far as I know, it's been a long time since I installed Windows, after you start the installation the PC reboots to continue with the process. I haven't been able to continue because after the reboot the BIOS doesn't detect the SSD as a Boot Device.

And yes, I'm trying to install Windows 10 on Disk 1.

You will have to have the BIOS set to UEFI /CSM.

You might find it simpler to perform an install with RUFUS.  https://rufus.ie/en/

Set the partition scheme to GPT.

Hi Erico.

I used RUFUS to create the Bootable USB but the result was the same, I'm attaching a picture of the error.

I tried to manually select the drive by using F9, there were 3 options.

1. Expansion bay (or something like that)

2. Network

3. EFI File

Option 1 didn't work and option 3 doesn't show an EFI file.

Just to be clear, I did all this with the HDD removed.

The hard disk error indicates that the BIOS firmware sees the disk as having problems.

No EFI file and the image you provided show me that the Windows 10 installation was not successful.

Hi Erico.

As far as i can tell the SSD is working perfectly fine. When Windows 7 boots, HP Client Security detects the SSD as a removable storage.

What should be my BIOS setup in order to detect the SSD as a boot device?
