HP Streambook 14
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

-Can you install the windows 10 OS on an external SSD and run the OS from there?

-Not enough space on the 32gb internal. I know I would need to change the boot order and leave the external drive installed permanently. I'm fine with this, just not sure if its possible.

Thanks

Some apps allow you to do that but not the OS. Please use the following guide

I actually was able to do this successfully. I installed the windows 10 OS on an external SSD and I'm able to boot from the drive manually via the start up menu by pressing the esc key and going into the boot devices. This is unfortunately only a one time boot option. I need to find a way to tell the BIOS to boot from the external USB SSD all the time without asking it too every time I turn on the computer via the start up options...any suggestions?
