Microsoft Windows 11

Hi, It's my first time here.

Now I have HP Pavilion Gaming Laptop 15-ec2089nw (4L1U8EA). In my computer I have 1 1TB SSD M2 PCIe, I want to install second M2, because I don't have enough memory space. I don't know is there two of M2 ports in my motherboard?

Hi:

Your notebook only has support for one M.2 SSD.

If you need more NVMe storage, you will have to replace the existing drive with one having a greater storage capacity.

The older 15-ec0xxx/15-ec1xxx model series had support for a 2.5" drive and a M.2 SSD drive, so if you want to see if your notebook still has that support you could install a 2.5" SATA SSD and use that for storage only.

This discussion provides information regarding adding a 2.5" drive in a 15-ec1xxx model:
