Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I bought my laptop in Germany, so when i purchased it the instructions were all in german and i couldn't understand it.

Im an engineering student who also likes gaming, so naturally, 8GBs of RAM wouldn't be enough.

I've checked my RAM specs (2400Mhz, SODIMM DDR4 SDRAM) according to my laptops serial number and found some compatible RAM sticks out in the online market. so my question is ;

- How do i disassemble, replace and install the new RAM stick to my computer? Is there some kind of instructional video or an article that i could follow?

- does the brand of the RAM matters? are some RAM brands better than others?

- My Laptop's RAM configuration is (2x4GB). Is it okay if i replace it with only ONE stick of 16GB RAM?

- what other things do i have to be careful of when purchasing and considering upgrading a new RAM?

those are all the questions i have right now. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank Youu.

For brand, my view is we need compatible RAM and MUST work, some RAM may be better in terms of technology and more expensive but they won't run faster may not compatible. Please try

Hi. My budget would be limited when it comes to things like these, so i was planning on buying 8GBs RAM sticks one by one ( another when i have saved some money for it). So, since i have 2 available RAM slots is it advisable to have one 4GB RAM stick and one other is 8GBs? (total of 12 GB)
