Hi @jerkey

The laptop processor does not need a disk driver, make sure you have created the installation USB drive properly, use Microsoft's media creation tool.

Thanks for your message.

Yes the USB was created from Microsoft media creation tool

you can download this driver if you want, use WinZip or 7 Zip, to unzip in a folder, then select the drivers folder, and copy its contents to the USB, and at the time of installation select that folder to find the Intel RST driver.

I already did that step-by-step, also tested with drivers downloaded from intel.

Here what it shows:

I've tried every "group", it seems the same, and i got the error above:

must use the Intel RST premium, but as I said, I don't think that's the problem, only processors from 10 th generation and up need a driver.  The issue is the USB, maybe it is generation 3 and you should use Gen 2, maybe it is partially damaged.

I already change USB twice and re-downloaded image also twice.

I use this link to download:

I'm used RUFUS to format the USB.

I also tested USB 2.0 and 3.0

HP Recommended

you can try RUFUS, disk partition is GPT or MBR

Hi, @jerkey

If your notebook came with Windows from HP and not FREEDOS, see if making a bootable recovery drive with the HP cloud recovery client utility works.

Here's a link to the software download:

Here's a link for how to use the utility:
