I have a HP ENVY Notebook 17t-u000 and after a Windows Update, the Windows Hello feature stopped working on the camera, even after Windows Update installed the driver.
So, upon research, I instructed to go into Device Manager and uninstalled the drivers to RealSense SR300 and reinstalled the drivers using sp75602.exe from the HP Support Site. Well, the firmware failed with error: 1fc48638 (-25), now I think the camera is bricked because upon refreshing Device Manager (or rebooting the PC), Windows can't find the camera at all. Nothing shows up in Device Manager. Then I did a full Windows 10 Reset and it still doesn't see the camera.
Is there any way to fix a corrupted firmware? Is the onboad camera toast now?
Thanks,
Phil

Thanks for the reply. I've tried all of that, short of bringing my laptop in for service. I decided to simply purchase an external IR camera that supports Windows Hello. Lenovo 500 FHD for $50. I'm tired of always fixing the RealSense camera after every Windows Update.
