Do you think something else is conflicting with this driver?

Unfortunately, that I do not know.

Thanks for the help.

I had the same problem on a Asus laptop.... "Intel(R) Trusted Execution Engine Interface  - This device cannot start. (Code 10) STATUS_DEVICE_POWER_FAILURE"

I solved the problem by installing an older version of the driver (V1.0.0.1050)

HP Recommended

Driver V1.0.0.1050 solved the error 10 Device Power Failure message. I had used V1.0.0.1064 for Asus laptop X533MA.

Has any one managed to solve this issue.

I have uninstalled the driver and reinstalled both the HP driver and the Intel driver.

I have also tried older driver as suggested but still have the same problem.

HP Recommended

The problem was cured by a bios update installed by HP Support using chat.

This driver solved the issue for me. It's both x86 and x64 and works in windows 10 too.
