Hello,

 

I'm helping a friend with installing her new HP laptop.

Today I started with the transfer of files from the old laptop to the new one.

 

But after an hour (just created an second partition) I got two warnings from; Intel Optane Memory and Storage Managment.
"Disk is starting to degrade. New SMART event detected"

(it turns out there has been a warning on the day of purchase as well, and a week later)

I think this issue might need warranty repair, but before I send her back to the store. 
I would like to have some extra opinions.
