Product: HP Notebook-15-bs180tx
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
I have a HP 15-bs180tx laptop and wish to replace the older 2 tb internal HDD Seagate Model ST2000LM007 Dimensions 10 x 7 x 0.7 cm with the newer Seagate Barracuda 4 TB 2.5 inch Internal HDD Model Number ST4000LM024 Dimensions 10 x 7 x 1.5 cm. Kindly guide if I can do so and if not what is the best option available in 4tb from other brands. Further there is no M.2 slot in my laptop for M.2 SATA SSD installation.

The 4TB HDD with dimension 10 x 7 x 1.5 cm is TOO thick, won't fit to the HDD bay. You can ONLY use HDD with 0.95 (or 9.5mm thick) down to 6.5mm. No thinner 4TB HDD in market today.
Regards.
