I have a Hp model 15-ay137cl notebook and want to upgrade with ssd m.2 compatible? I bought one of the crucial CT250MX500SSD4 macar, I opened my notebook and I do not know where to install it. Need help!

Hi,

I do not believ the notebook has an extra slot for M2 SATA3 SSD.

The board mentioned by @banhien will not be present in the PC as it is where the hard drive is placed.

The best idea is to return the M2 SSD and get a 2.5" SSD such as the 2.5" Samsung 860 Evo or similar to replace the hard drive. It will have the same speed as the M2 SSD and you will not need to purchase any extra parts for the PC.

You may have to buy the following part and install first

 

    Solid-state drive board (includes cable)  part # 850946-001

 

But before that, please check its location to see does it have the board already
