Is HP USB-C Dock G4 compatible with HP Pavilion Aero 13''(Ryzen 5600u) ?

I know HP Aero has power delivery and display port on its usb-c, and this would probably work, but I'm rather interested in different thing:

The dock has power-on button. Should this power-on button work it HP Aero, same as with business line laptops ? (I'm trying to find a way to power on while keeping the lid closed)

The HP USB-C G4 dock compatibility list is discussed in the thread at the hyperlink below.

Your laptop is not in the compatibility list and unfortunately does not have a thunderbolt port, even though it does have PD (power delivery). Having a USB Type PD Thunderbolt port is a requisite for full compatibility with many docks.

You can use the Windows power options to set what happens when you close the lid.

You would want the do nothing option enabled.

It would have been convenient if you had provided the installed operating system.

For Windows 11, type lid into the search box. The option you need will appear in the list above.

For Windows 10

While booted into Windows , Windows key + the I key to invoke the Power options
