Product: Pavillion Notebook M2W70PA#ACJ
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

The Hard Disk on my Pavillion Notebook M2W70PA#ACJ has crashed. The Hard Disk at present is Toshiba MQ01ABD100. I have go for a replacement. Can I replace it with a SSD. If yes which SSD model is best suitable and has good life. Please help.

You're very welcome.

 

Any 2.5" SSD will work.

 

You have to compare the read/write speeds of the models you are interested in.

 

For example the drive I posted has these read/write speeds...

 

Sequential read speeds up to 560 MB/s, and sequential write speeds up to 530 MB/s .

 

The HP drive you posted has sequential read speeds up to 560 MB/s, and sequential write speeds up to 515MB/s.

 

So the HP drive is really good, but falls a little short on the write speeds than the WD Blue one.

 

The HP drive in India seems to be a better bargain.

 

Here in the United States, the WD drive I posted is only 4418 Rupees ($59.99), so it is much more expensive in India for the same model.

This one is a very popular drive and costs less than the HP drive above, but it also has a little slower read/write speeds.

You'll have to go with what you think makes the most sense.

Hi:

 

Yes, you can replace the 2.5" mechanical hard drive with a 2.5" SSD.

 

This one IMHO, provides the best performance for the price.
