Product: Hp pavallion 15e019tx
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 8 (64-bit)
sir
i have hp pavallion 15e019tx laptop which i bought in september 2013 With 3 Years onsite warranty for hardware. Now my chager is not working. When i contact the support team they simply said that the battery and charger are not included in the warranty!!
if we are given charger with the laptop at the time of purchase and there's no extra separate charge for the adapter ,then why we are asked to pay for the replacement if we are under warranty!!!
Does it mean buy a laptop for Around 40k and then pay for warranties and then your charger is still not covered under this..when it will stop working you are to pay Around 2k more...
one more thing
the address for the authorized service centers and their contact details must be updated on dialy basis..you have no ideas how much we -the customers have to suffer...
sorry but i am really angry ..to get talk to a representtive by online chat it took me an hour to connect..then he said you are connected to usa ..gave me the link for indian support team and contact number(he was really nice guy who helped me). I waited for 2 Hours to get connected to the indian chat tech support by online chat and then disconnected..
what should i do now??buy a new one and tear those papers and that invoice saying "3years onsite warranty.."
or expect a miracle to happen... 😞 😞 😞

But sir the salesman or the shops from where we buy laptops must tell us when we go for buying new laptop..at the time of purchase he literally said at the end of 2years and 11months crush this laptop bag under the bike and u'll get a new laptop .. I am not blaming you or hp for this...
anyways ..since no option is left for me now..i'll have to buy a new one 😞 😞
thanks for replying

I agree it probably should be as it would not cost much to warrant it but this has been tradition in the computer industry as long as there have been laptops. The battery and the adapter are outside the normal warranty structure.
