Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My existing M.2 drive (WD Black 750) crashed and burned on me and I need to replace.  Was just wondering if this system's M.2 controllers are Gen 4 compatible. System was built and purchased in April 2021. Thought this would be an easier question to answer, but I guess not.  Thanks for the help!

Hi:

A Gen 4 SSD will work but only at the Gen 3 speeds, because that is the specification of your notebook chipset's M.2 slot.

Thanks for the quick response!  I thought that was the case (Gen3), but was a little uncertain based on the info in the manual. Appreciate the info.  That helps.
