i just want to know if i can upgrade my Ram, my CPU, HDD and if possible add Nvidia GPU to my laptop and as well change my wifi card to the latest wifi card.

hp probook 4540s is a series of many models/products/options/configurations. But in general you

 

1. Can upgrade RAM, up to 8GB,

2. CPU may be,

3. HDD: yes, you can use faster HDD or even SSD,

4. GPU: no,

5. Wireless card: Your machine was built around 2012/2013 therefore the chace is very slim to none.

Please carefully read it and select option(s) to upgrade. Sometimes, updrading old machines won't give any benefit in terms of cost/performance

i did a little reading on the internet and i read that i can upgrade my ram to 16gb. anyway thanks very much.

and also, why cant i add a GPU? whats wrong?

Hi,

 

Nothing wrong but your machine has no where to add video card, same for nearly all notebooks/laptops.
