Just want to know if my model hp split -13r010dx is upgradeable from i3 to i5 and ram to 8gb or 16gb , and may be an extra hd ,looked at fourms but to many say yes you can upgrade Another say it soldiered in not upgradeable , then read some have put 8gb or 16gb in the tablet ,my hd and ram are in tablet , would like to know before I open tablet thank you

Hi,
It does not say upgradable, it says supports which means certain models in the series were sold with 8GB of RAM and others with 4GB of RAM.
If you look at page 64 of the manual you can see the various motherboards and the RAM they have integrated on them.

Hi,
Basically, the tablet is not upgradable. The CPU and RAM are integrated on the motherboard and not upgradable.
The hard drive is a special drive with a different type of connection than "normal" drives, so not upgradable (it is replaceable if the other drive should no longer work).
