Is it possible to purchase a new processor for my x360 15m-cn0012dx?  I currently have one that is 1.8ghz, and I would like a 2.5ghz (or more) for gaming.

Hi:

The processor is an integral part of the motherboard and cannot be upgraded separately.

In order to upgrade the processor, you would have to replace the motherboard with one listed in your notebook's service manual (chapter 3) that may come with better processor.

You would probably have to replace the heat sink as well.

The costs attendant to doing such an upgrade would probably come close to what you paid for the notebook.
