Microsoft Windows 11

My Envy X2c is pushing the operating system to he max just to run windows and internet. My tech said I don't have enough memory and it is using the hard drive for the demand and as a result is truly sluggish on the internet. Can I install more memory and larger hard drive? Currently I have 2GB HD and I think 128 hd. Thank you.

HI

Unfortunately, you can't upgrade the memory or the 128 GB eMMC drive since they are integral parts of the motherboard.

Your PC came with the largest capacity eMMC drive that HP offered in the model series.

Below is the link to the service manual.

You're very welcome.

You have the best motherboard available that was supported in the model series if you look at the list in chapter 3 of the service manual.

The best motherboard comes with 2 GB of soldered onboard memory and the max drive capacity of 128 GB.

No motherboards were offered with more than 2 GB of onboard memory.

The only options were a motherboard with a 64 GB eMMC drive or 128 GB eMMC drive and either a W8 standard product key in the BIOS or a W8 Pro product key in the BIOS.
