I am writing to bring to your attention an issue with my HP ENVY x360 Convertible PC (Product Number: 6H8V9PA, Serial Number: CND22326N3) purchased from Delhi.
While closing the laptop during normal use, the hinge on one side broke, causing the screen glass to crack. The device is still under standard warranty, and this damage occurred without any misuse or physical impact.
I have already raised a case (Case ID: 5146432528) and submitted the requested photos and video to the support team.
As several users reporting similar hinge issues with HP Envy and Pavilion models. In many cases, HP has recognized this as a manufacturing or design-related defect and offered goodwill repairs or warranty support even without Accidental Damage Protection.
Given the circumstances, I kindly request that HP consider my situation under the same approach and approve a goodwill repair, as this appears to be a hardware failure under normal conditions.
I believe in HP’s commitment to customer service and hope to receive a fair resolution to this issue.
Please let me know if any further details are required from my side.

It might be useful to lubricate the hinge as I suspect that caused the problem.
