Hi:
Below is the link to the crucial memory report for your notebook.
https://www.crucial.com/compatible-upgrade-for/hp---compaq/hp-14-cm0507sa
According to the report, there is one memory slot, and it can take an 8 GB memory chip.
So you would have to remove the existing 4 GB chip and replace it with an 8 GB chip.
Below is the link to the service manual.
http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c06245114
Chapter 1 has the memory upgrade info.
One memory module slot (E2/A4/A6 processors)
Memory is non-customer accessible/non-upgradeable
The 'Memory is non-customer accessible/non-upgradeable' statement means that HP wants any upgrades/repairs done by an authorized service center.
If you feel you can do the upgrade yourself without breaking anything in the process (thus voiding the warranty), feel free to so.
You will find the memory removal and replacement procedure in chapter 5.
You can buy the compatible 8 GB DDR4-2400 memory chip listed in the report in the UK.

Thank you so much! 🙂 I was searching for it but couldn't find anything and just needed to know if it did have a removable Ram slot. I've upgraded Ram on a Mac before but My son has Autism and is asking for a Windows 10 Laptop and i just know that the 4gb it comes with is going to be too slow running Windows 10.
