Hello everybody, I have a problem with my HP Elitebook 840 G7. My laptop has an SD card slot; I have seen many videos on Youtube where the person just presses it and it pops out, but on my computer it just doesn't come out. There is a small dent in it, but I don't think its big/deep enough to affect the normal functioning of the SD card slot. Am I pressing it wrong or is there some software I have to install to make it pop out?

Thank you in advance,

Hans

What you are describing happens when someone puts an SD card upside down and forces it in.

The only way to remove it is to use a tool such as tiny needle-nosed pliers or a small screwdriver.

Otherwise, it will be there forever.

It can't be the case, since I never opened it since buying it, it was like this when I got the laptop and I bought it new on the HP website, not second-hand.
