Hi,
sorry, I wasn't able to find a proper subject to my issue.
I bought a laptop 1w ago, and it turns out it has just 3 months warrenty left! I bought it online, and the website didn't tell me anything about that.
I opened an 'hp case' to notify the issue, but I got no reply in 4 days.
I'll probably return the product to the seller, but I wanted to know if HP has any suggestion about what to do...Is there any control on products warrenty and resellers behavior?
Thank you in advance for your attention.
Please tell me if there's a more suitable subject or channel to this kind of matters...

Hi
What you have is either completely normal, or a scam.
I bought mine in 2016, the warranty started mid 2015.
When I registered it on the HP website and did some updates.....
My born on date matched.
So if you return it and get a replacement that has the date stamp of when it left the factory, and it is earlier than the current one you are posting about ??????

Unfortunately, this is the weekend.
I can ask a Moderator to escalate your issue. An incorrect warranty date can be corrected.
I am a volunteer forum member. If my suggestion helped you solve your issue, help others by marking that post as the accepted solution. Say thanks by clicking on the Yes button next to the "was this reply helpful?"

I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP. They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number. Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).
If you are unfamiliar with how the Support Community's private message capability works, you can learn about that here.
Thank you for visiting the HP Support Community.

Hi, and thank you all for your replies!
I actually recevived an email asking me for further details...I was just trying to understand why do they don't use the data I already sent opening the 'case'? Is the 'case' procedure forwarded or considered at all?
thank you again
