My mute indicator light is not showing however the function works. The lights are working for both wifi and caps lock! I have a G6 Pavillion 2380sa! I hope you can help me solve the problem. I have tried to look for updates on device manager and also reinstall them. I also installed IDT and realtek drivers but nothing seems to work.

Hello again OliverLandy,
Thank you for responding to my post requesting additional information. I am providing you with a link to the HP Pavilion g6-2380sa Notebook PC Drivers page where you can select Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit) from the drop-down box and click on the blue NEXT button. Scroll down to the Driver - Chipset drivers and ensure that you have the most up to date drivers for your Chipset installed. I would then like you to go down to the Driver - Keyboard, Mouse and Input Devices and ensure that you have the Synaptics TouchPad Driver installed as well. Once you have all the drivers updated restart your computer.
Please re-post if you still require assistance after following the above steps. Thank you for posting on the HP Forums. Have a great day!

Hello again OliverLandy,
Thank you again for the update on your issue. Alright so we are going to try reinstalling the IDT High-Definition (HD) Audio Driver, which will reinstall the audio drivers. If this does not work we may have to use the HP Support document: Using Recovery Manager to Restore Software and Drivers (Windows 😎 to reinstall the original drivers that came with your computer.
Please re-post with the results of these steps. Thank you once again for your post on the HP Forums. Have a great day!

I'm having the exact same issue as the original post in this thread. I have an HP Stream x360 Windows 8.1 64 bit. My CapsLock function and LED indicator is working fine, but my mute LED indicator does not come on even though the command is working properly. I hope you can help me with this issue.
