Hi, I’m unsure exactly how to remove the keyboard ribon from the connector.
can someone advise please?

I have gone through your Post and would like to help

 

The brown connector should be a latch which you can lift up since the latch is the one pinning the keyboard ribbon down

Hi and thanks for your reply. I think the same as you but the brown connector latch does not appear to want to release. I didn’t want to force it in case it broke! I’ve had to return the laptop now to my customer. I didn’t actually need to fully remove the keyboard but as I tried and got stuck, I  wanted to ask how to correctly remove this for future reference. Thanks again.
