Microsoft Windows 11

I installed Windows 11 a few weeks ago, everything has been fine. Last night hp automatically installed HIDClass - 2.1.16.30156 and now I'm having several issues that weren't happening prior.

  • My prt sc button no longer works (the least of my problems)
  • I'm having an issue with double key-strokes that I thought was a Filter Keys issue but resetting those settings hasn't helped.
  • Certain applications and menus are launching incredibly slowly (i.e. It took 33 seconds for Device Manager to load but the rest of my applications were running fine during that time)

I cannot find ANY information on this driver update.

My issues appear to be fixed. I disconnected my dock/external monitors and power cord and everything resolved. Plugged everything back in and have not experienced any further issues.

Add that to the list of things to check in the future, I guess. 😐
