@My_laptop_Abhin, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Have you tried connecting an external keyboard and a mouse to check if the issue persists?
Install updates using HP Support Assistant
- In the search box, type and open HP Support Assistant.
- Check for updates.
- If the updates are available, click on install and restart the computer.
Note: If you do not have HP Support Assistant installed, Click here to download the same.
Also, check for any pending windows update. Reboot the computer.
If the issue persists, follow the steps mentioned in - Keyboard Troubleshooting.
To troubleshooting touchpad issues, refer to - Using the TouchPad or ClickPad.
You may run a hardware test on both these devices and share the result in your next post.
- Hold the power button for at least five seconds to turn off the computer.
- Turn on the computer and immediately press Esc repeatedly, about once every second. When the menu appears, press the F2 key.
- Perform Component Test > Keyboard and mouse/touchpad test.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
