Hello,
Some keys on my laptop keyboard have stopped working. I have already updated the drivers, but the error persists.

Please can you help me?

Hi @CesarLuque,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Sorry for the inconvenience caused don’t worry let me help you.

To better understand the issue, could you please provide a few more details?

Troubleshooting steps you can try:

Perform a Keyboard Test – Use the Windows On-Screen Keyboard (Windows + Ctrl + O) to see if the keys are registering there. This can help determine if it’s hardware-related.

Power Reset – Shut down the laptop, disconnect the power adapter, and remove the battery if possible. Hold the power button for 15–20 seconds, then restart.

External Keyboard Test – Connect a USB or Bluetooth keyboard to see if all keys work properly. If they do, this confirms the issue is with the built-in keyboard hardware.

Keyboard Driver Reinstallation – Go to Device Manager → Keyboards → right-click your keyboard → Uninstall device. Then restart the laptop to allow Windows to reinstall the driver automatically.

I hope this helps.
