I find the black keys with red lettering very difficult to read, the red keys with white letters are excellent.
I was wondering if the black keys could be changed for red with white lettering.

You cannot replace single Keys . For this concern, the entire keyboard will need replacement . I would advise you to contact HP Tech Support and check with them to get the keyboard replaced . Although i am not very hopeful , they will have customized option for keyboard .
All the Best
Although I am an HP employee, I am speaking for myself and not for HP.
