HP EliteBook 840 G4 Base Model Notebook PC

My keyboard doesn't work after turning on the laptop; the Windows login screen appears. None of the keys are working. I can restart the computer using the mouse, and after the restart, the keyboard works normally. After shutting down the computer, the situation repeats itself, and only a restart helps. I tried logging in using the on-screen keyboard, which worked, but after logging in, the physical keyboard still didn't function. I updated all the drivers I could find (from Windows Update, HP Support Assistant, Intel Driver Support Assistant, and support.hp.com) and uninstalled the keyboard driver – unfortunately, with no effect.
