Keyboard not working tried hard reset 8-10 secs still not working happens every 5-8 weeks

@Ray2471 Are certain keys not working? or is the entire keyboard not responding anymore? Could you elaborate?

Also, here's a few things you can do, to identify the issue:

  • Reinstall the drivers for your keyboard using the device manager, press Windows + X and select device manager, look for keyboard, right click under keyboards and click uninstall, restart when done and it should automatically reinstall a fresh copy of the driver, resolving issues that the old driver had on its own, if that doesn't work, try the below steps,
  • perform an interactive hardware test on the keyboard using the steps mentioned on this link: Click here (look under "Running Component Tests > Keyboard test").
