It sounds like your keyboard isn't responding—let's get it working again! Here are some troubleshooting steps to try:
Basic Fixes
Check Physical Connections
- If it's a wired keyboard, unplug and reconnect it.
- If it's wireless, replace the batteries or recharge it.
Restart Your Computer
- Sometimes a simple restart can resolve the issue.
Try a Different USB Port
- If using a USB keyboard, plug it into another port.
Software Fixes
Run the Keyboard Troubleshooter
- Go to Settings → Update & Security → Troubleshoot → Keyboard.
- Run the troubleshooter and follow the prompts.
Update or Reinstall the Keyboard Driver
- Open Device Manager (Win + X → **Device Manager`).
- Expand Keyboards, right-click your keyboard, and select Update driver.
- If updating doesn’t work, select Uninstall device, restart your PC, and let Windows reinstall it.
Disable Filter Keys
- Go to Settings → Accessibility → Keyboard.
- Turn off Filter Keys, which can cause unresponsiveness.
