I need to be sure about maximum ram for notebook Hp-15-ac040nl s.n. [Private information removed]

Actually I've 8gb ram, single module; should I install a second module of 8gb, having a total amount of 16gb with dual channel?

The 8 GB memory max shown in the service manual is incorrect for models with the Intel core processors.

So is the motherboard capable to work with 16gb? Or the maximum is only 8gb.

Even if I've an empty slot, I'm worried about total amount of ram compatible with the laptop.
