Product: 15-ay028ca touch screen version
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Laptop 15-ay028ca touch screen version, the cpu of the laptop is i3-6100u. Now the battery needs to be replaced. The original battery Spare part number is 807956-001. The voltage marked on the battery is 10.95 volts. The new battery Spare part number is 807957-001 and the voltage is 14.8 volts. Can a new battery be used? Install it on the laptop without damaging the laptop. Can a laptop adapt to different battery voltages? I read the the Maintenance and Service Guide, and it seems that it can be replaced, but I am not sure, so I ask for support, thank you.
