Laptop 17-ca2xxx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

No reaction when I insert a 256 MB MMC mobile card in the reader. The card works fine in other computers e.g. my old Hp laptop and an external cardreader connected to an Android phone.

The reason for using such a low capacity card is a fairly old GPS logging device, which I am not going to throw away.

I have downloaded and installed the newest available card reader driver to no avail.

What is your Laptop 17-ca2xxx  machine ? Normally the SD card slot does not support MMC format.

Regards.

@banhien the specs are here: https://support.hp.com/dk-da/document/c06677366

In my previous hp laptop, dv 9575eo, with same kind of combined card reader, I had no problems reading this card. This was bought many years ago with Windows Vista, which I quickly UPgraded to Xp.

I guess it is a win10 driver problem in the new one, I can use the card in several other devices without problems.
