Hello to the community,

I'd like to upgrade my laptop screen panel. Actually it has a WXGA with 1366 resolution. I'd like to know if it's possibile to install a IPS LED panel. The stock screen would be an LG code LP156WH2-TLQA, probably.

Thank you for your support

My stock screen has a 40pin with 1-channel and 6bit connector, however I'd like to install a IPS display with 40pin connector but 2-channel and 6bit. Will it work?

Unfortunately phone and chat support cannot give me a reply, because my laptop is older than 10 years. This is the worst feedback I should receive from HP

@m00dy58,

I understand your concerns.

You can check with our Part surfer to check the compatible display.

Or you can contact a local store regarding this.
