Product: HP EliteBook 840 G1 Notebook PC (ENERGY STAR)
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

wherever i do a shutdown, hibernate or sleep then although the machine appears to be inactive the fan starts running at full speed suddenly after shutdown or sometime after shutdown, the networking light goes orange, and the mute light remains on (white). bios and drivers appear to be up to date. i have found one other person with the same problem his solution didn't worked for me.
