It has fan to cool down machine. It does not have Optical drive therefore use can't use that slot.
From its specs, it has 256 GB M.2 SSD (SATA) for storage. You can add 2.5" SATA HDD/SSD to your machine but you need Hard drive bracket part # L20455-001
