Laptop Hinge

Am I the only one who has hinge issues?  This computer was purchased In March of 3032 and the hinges already broke. I was told the parts are toO expensive ($500 used) and oh by the way we cracked the touch screen. I use to think highly of HP laptops but the way the hinge is makes me think these are highly defective. I don’t abuse my computers. Never dropped the computer but the hinge did not last very long. I paid over a $1000 for basically have an expensive paperweight. I will never buy another HP computer. At least not until they improve the part design.
